Spring is here, and one of my favorite warm-weather brews will be back in the DC area next week. Bell’s Oberon will be available in stores and bars beginning Tuesday, March 30.
If you just can’t wait, you can taste this Michigan specialty late Sunday night at an early tapping courtesy of The Big Hunt and Bell’s Brewing. At midnight on Sunday, March 28 The Big Hunt in Dupont Circle will be tapping DC’s first keg of Oberon for the 2010 season. In addition to the Oberon, they will be raffling off some Bell’s Brewery doo-dads.
If you can’t make it on Sunday, The Big Hunt will have another event on Tuesday, Oberon’s official opening day. On Tuesday, March 30 The Big Hunt will have Oberon on special for $5 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The local Bell’s Brewery representative will also be there to talk beer and raffle off more Bell’s goodies.
