Jacob and Mike run through some of the local breweries who won Medals at the (virtual) Great American Beer Festival (GABF 2020) this year, with interviews with some of the winners thanks to special guest host Richard.
Brett Robison from Silver Branch Brewing talks about the brewery’s first medal (but not the first for brewer and co-owner Christian Layke), a Gold for their Beyond the Gnome World Saison. Emma Quinn celebrates Port City‘s Bronze medal in the Vienna-Style Lager category, for their Octoberfest, and Matt Hagerman from Lost Rhino celebrates their Rhino’fest, which won Gold in the same category. Finally, Rocket Frog co-owner David Hartogs talks about their Silver medal for Wallops Island Brown Ale, the second medal they’ve won for that beer in the few short years they’ve been open.
