Leon Harris was stationed in the military in Holland, came home and started home brewing. since then, he’s done just about everything in the beer industry. From brewing to helping build breweries from the ground up, Leon Harris is a beloved figure in our local beer scene.

Jordan sits down with Leon Harris to hear his story of becoming a brewer at Port City and his journey to start Black Cave Brewing, a new Black-owned and Veteran-owned brewery in Prince George’s County. First, Leon shares which Port City beer he always finishes his day with, aka “the Leon Special.” Then, he tells us why he started Black Cave and shares the stories behind the Black Cave beers we can expect to see in the future.
