We visit Brookeville Beer Farm where head brewer Kenny Borkman talks about being hands-on with the brewing process and walks us through growing their own hops, herbs, spices, and fruits. Brookeville’s focus on creating the best quality beer starts with sourcing local ingredients. Fun fact: Brookeville doesn’t use a grain handling system which means they hand load everything during the brewing process!
Brookeville has produced milk stouts, pilsners, and dunkels, just to name a few, and they’re looking forward to trying their hand at sours this upcoming summer. Brookeville Beer Farm is growing at a steady pace and will be hosting the Brookeville Beer Festival this summer.
