Just south of the historic charm of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, the ALX Beer Trail trail offers a taste of the city’s vibrant beer scene. Start with Lost Boy Cider–sure, it’s made like wine, but it’s sold like beer!—and from there you can walk or bike to Atlas’ newest taproom. Then it’s a bike-friendly trip to Port City’s award winning beers. Next up is new kid, Mieza, focused on barrel-aging and mixed fermentation beers, and end the day with Aslin’s boozy stouts and hazy IPAs.
