You eat food, right? And you prefer it to taste good? Given that you’re currently reading this site, I know you’re into beer. Well, sir or ma’am, I just might have the event for you.
On Wednesday, March 14, Dupont Circle mainstay Scion is hosting a tap takeover/beer dinner with DC Brau. They’ll have six braus on draft, including three limited-release seasonals. All DC Brau drafts will be $4 all night, or you can get a full tasting flight for $12.
Yes, yes, I know; I alluded to food earlier. Patience.
In addition to their full menu, Scion is putting out a special three-course DC Brau pairing menu for $30. They’re even going to incorporate some of DC Brau’s spent grain in two of the dishes. Scion’s keeping it nice and loose, too: there will be no set seatings for the pairing menu and guests can order it at any point in the night.
Did I mention that you’ll get the chance to meet DC Brau founders Brandon Skall and Jeff Hancock, if you haven’t already had the pleasure?
It all kicks off at 5 pm. Enjoy.
