Ventnor Sports Cafe Kicks Off Philly Beer Thursdays

In a continuation of what has already been a big week for Ventnor Sports Cafe, beer director Scott Auslander reports via email that the bar will start a weekly event called “Philly Beer Thursdays.”

The email reads:

Every Thursday we will have a new menu with the best selection of beers from the Philadelphia area…Selections include beer from Sly Fox, Yards, Lancaster Brewing Company, Philadelphia Brewing Company, Lionshead Brewery and Victory as well. Choices will change almost weekly. Hungry too? Philly Cheesesteaks will be $5 bucks all night long….

Thursday for some Philly beers? Here’s the menu for the first week:

Pikeland Pils
Route 113 IPA
Royal Weisse Ale

Yards Brewing Company (both $6)
Brawler Ale
Pale Ale

And of course, Yuengling will be on tap, though it’s not a Philly beer, for $4.50.
