As we previewed a couple of weeks ago, Scion is in the middle of a three events in fifteen days blitzkrieg of beer.  Tomorrow night, Tim and co. will feature six Great Lakes brews: Christmas Ale, Dopplerock, Conway’s Irish Ale, Holy Moses White Ale, Commodore Perry, and Eliot Ness.  The first four are seasonals and the other two are year-round. Admission is free.  The taps open at 5pm, and will end when the kegs are kicked.  Scion will also pair a number of tasty, small plates with the Great Lakes brews.

AND…they’ll raffle off 2 SAVOR tickets.

AND…we hear from our sources that the Christmas Ale should last longer than the usual 5 minutes.

AND…Great Lakes is providing Scion a brew from their Pub Exclusive line: The Grand Cru, a 7.8% Belgian Strong Pale Ale.  Apparently, Great Lakes calls it “Holy Moses on steroids.” (For extra motivation, see attached picture of a ripped Holy Moses, courtesy of Michelangelo.)  The Grand Cru will be TAPPED AT 8PM. Scion has the last keg in the city!

Don’t forget about Scion’s Battle of the Brews event next Wednesday with the owners of Allagash and Uinta. Scion will sell tickets for that event tomorrow night as well.
