ACBW Line-up: Wednesday, May 18

Oh what a doozy tonight is going to be. I feel badly for all of you because there’s going to be a lot of anguish over which event(s) you decide to go to tonight. Remember we’re here for you. It doesn’t get any easier tomorrow.

Oh what a doozy tonight is going to be. I feel badly for all of you because there’s going to be a lot of anguish over which event(s) you decide to go to tonight. Remember we’re here for you. It doesn’t get any easier tomorrow.

– At Smith Commons, get Swell Groomed with Dogfish Head. Drink Dogfish’s Red and White, Hellhound On My Ale, and Palo Santo Marron and pair it with a Meringue of Orange & Foie Gras Surprise, Braised Pork Belly w/Bacon Juice, (it’s a Thai Dessert). While you’re at it, learn a little bit about grooming. On the third floor private event, there will be a salon feature. Reservations required, limited space available. Thrillist readers enter code GROOMED and receive exclusive access to the 3rd floor lounge and take away beer glasses and some style. Michael Craig Men’s Grooming knows a thing or two about looking swell, and it’s not just about the right kind of haircut. Make your way to the 3rd floor ‘men’s lounge’ for the night, where from 7-8pm, Michael Craig himself offers a bit of insight to help guys look their best, from hair to skin care, to new facial hair trends, to how to go from office hours to after hours without spending a lot of time in the barber’s chair. Collect samples from Frederick Benjamin (quality products for men) and snag a $25 certificate for a haircut at the salon. There will also be beers available on the second floor for those of you who are interested in drinking over grooming!

– At ChurchKey, hit up the Tröegs Draft Rarities & Glassware Giveaway. ChurchKey will feature no fewer than 10 different Tröegs beers on draft and will be handing out some Tröegs Sunshine Pils glassware as well! Among the most notable brews will be three different Tröegs Scratch Series beers (#41 , #42, & #43), The Flying Mouflan (very rare on draft this year!) and even a keg of Mad Elf 2010 that they stowed away for a special occasion! Drafts start pouring at 6 PM and there is no admission fee; beers will be priced individually by the glass and in tasting pours.

Scion hosts a Sierra Nevada rare beer dinner. Tickets may still be available, so call Scion! Five beers and five courses for $55 a person. Plus, every attendee gets a chance to win tickets to SAVOR! Click the link to see the menu! 7pm

Heavy Seas is teaming up with the M Street Bar and Grill for a dinner of their own! Five courses, $45!

Capitol City Brewing Company at Postal Square is hosting a Patio Party. They plan on serving half smokes, burgers and sides. All of the brewers will be there and they will be tapping a few casks as well, including a Session Pale with orange zest and honey. The beer list includes: Capitol Kölsch, Amber Waves, Pale Rider, Prohibition Porter, Fuel – Coffee infused imperial stout, Hefeweizen, Session Pale – 5 hop varietals. There will also be a cask of oak aged abbey ale! Pints $3, burgers $5.

Flying Dog hosts a Steal the Pint Night at Fire Works Arlington. Flying Dog will be stopping in with firkins of Imperial Simcoe IPA, a couple of drafts, and official Flying Dog glassware that’s yours to keep when you buy the beer!

Arlington Craft Crawl – Go to the Flying Dog event above, because it’s the first stop on a craft beer crawl through Arlington! Meet there at 5:30pm. Other stops include: Flying Dog Beer and Food Pairing at Fireworks, Whitlows Roofdeck with Sam Adams, Boulevard with Ommegang, Hard Times, Spider Kellys, Rustico Ballston
