We all know that there’s a tremendous amount of energy in the DC craft beer community. We’re all a part of it, yes even you, intrepid reader, since you’re reading a craft beer website. It’s always great to see that energy at beer releases, tastings, dinners, etc. but it’s also important for us to put that energy toward philanthropic ends, too. Luckily, we’ve got a great one here for you to devote some energy to!

Last year, you may remember Deverie inviting you to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Brewer’s Ball. Well, this year I want to extend the same invitation to you! I’ve gotten really involved with the steering committee for this tremendous event, and I hope that you will all be able to attend. The event this year is on Saturday, March 12, in the Nationals Park Stars and Stripes Club. You can buy tickets here!

The 7th Annual Brewer’s Ball, a unique beer-tasting event, is a popular annual tradition, Brewer’s Ball  will offer guests the opportunity to sample a variety of handcrafted microbrews from more than a dozen of  the region’s best microbreweries and brewpubs, while also enjoying the cuisine of several popular restaurants.  Alternative beverages will be served and the evening will feature live entertainment and one of the region’s most memorable live and silent auctions.  Net proceeds from this event benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their mission to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of lives for those living with the disease.
