2010 Brewer’s Ball

Shine up those shoes and pick up your dry cleaning – the 2010 Brewer’s Ball is just around the corner!  On Saturday, March 6th, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will sponsor the 6th Annual Brewer’s Ball event, to be held this year at the United States Chamber of Commerce.

Seventeen area breweries will be participating, along with ten food stations for an all-inclusive event where the cost of your ticket includes food, beverages, entertainment, and an auction, too.

Breweries will include:
Capitol City Brewing Company
Clipper City Brewing
Fordham Brewing Company
Old Dominion Brewing Company
Dogfish Head Alehouse
Flying Dog Brewery
Front Street Brewery
Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant
Holy Brew Company
Hook & Ladder Brewing Company
Hops Grill & Brewery
ICS Group – Capital Eagle
Rust Belt Brewing Company
Starr Hill Brewing Company
Tuppers Hop Pocket Beers
Vintage 50
Williamsburg Alewerks

The Brewer’s Ball offers more than 800 guests the opportunity to sample a variety of handcrafted ales and lagers from top microbreweries and brewpubs in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area.  The evening will feature live entertainment as well as a silent auction, to raise both money and awareness for cystic fibrosis research.   The 2009 Brewer’s Ball was able to contribute 95 cents of every dollar raised available for investment in vital CF research, care and education programs.  By donating to Brewer’s Ball you know that your money is being spent in the most effective way possible – to save lives!

Individual tickets are on sale for $115 each, $40 of which is tax deductible.  Sponsorships are available, as well.  For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit http://metrodc.cff.org/brewersball or call the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation DC Chapter at (301) 657-8444.
