Steal a Mad Elf Troegs Glass Tonight at The Red and The Black

It’s nice to see a cool music venue stock such great beer, and now they are even upping the ante by hosting some beer events. Tonight–along with a ton of other events going on–you can stop by The Red and The Black and steal a glass.

They will be hosting a tasting of this year’s Mad Elf by Troegs. It comes in at 11% ABV and is brewed with chocolate malts paired with sweet and sour cherries and local honey. The beer is fermented with Belgian yeast to deliver a fruity, spicy ruby red winter beer.

They will have a limited supply of Mad Elf glasses for the first people to come in for the tastings, and then will have other Troegs glasses for the late comers. You could try to get to this event before your frog’s legs dinner at Granville Moore’s also going on tonight.

This event is 5:00pm – 8:00pm Tonight (Wednesday Dec. 2) but I’d get there early if you want the Mad Elf glass.

The Red and The Black is at 1212 H St. NE.
