Looks like just about every weekend for the months of September/October will be busy for the intrepid Washington, DC beer lover.  Below are some of the great beer events going on in the DC area for the annual Oktoberfest season. PROST!

September Events

Birreria Paradiso’s Victory Brewing Co. Oktoberfest
Monday, September 21st

Head over to Birreria Paradiso in Georgetown  for a 4 course and 6 beer dinner with Pennsylvania brewery Victory’s brewmaster Bill Covaleski as your guide. Oktoberfest inspired food will be served and it’s $65 a seat. Reservations are required and you can call 202.337.4936. There are two seatings: 6:30 or 9:00 PM.

Brickskeller’s Oktoberfest Tasting with Weeping Radish Farm and Brewery
Date: Wednesday, September 23

Join the Brick and fellow beer enthusiasts as they taste traditional German style beers brewed by a Germany born farmer/brewer from North Carolina. Look for Corolla Gold-a Munich Helles style; the Black Radish Schwarzbier, an Altbier Farm Brew, a Fest beer, and a Weizen beer. More info here…

RFD’s Oktoberfest Week of Beers
Date: Sept. 20-26th

All week RFD will put one different Oktoberfest beer on special for $3.50. A good reason to stop by for Happy Hour.

Das Best Oktoberfest at the National Harbor
Date: Saturday Sept. 26

So at first glance this didn’t seem like a big craft beer event, but they apparently will be pouring every German beer available in Maryland so I have a hard time finding fault with that. $25 advance online tickets gets you 9 drink tokens.
