On September 22 and 23, Dave Alexander over at the Brickskeller will be hosting one of his favorite brewers from Weeping Radish Eco Farm and Brewery located in North Carolina.

Founded in 1986, Weeping Radish is the oldest microbrewery in North Carolina. They focus on German style lagers and feature a Corolla Gold-a Munich Helles style; the Black Radish Schwarzbier, an Altbier Farm Brew, a Fest beer, and a Weizen beer. I’m guessing even though some of these are listed as out of stock, we will be able to try them at Dave’s event.

The beers will also be paired with some of the meats grown on Weeping Radish Farm. Although the Brick is pretty famous for great beer tastings, a food combo hasn’t happened often in the past so this is stacking up to be a really cool event. At the end of the night, Dave will crack open some Spaten Octoberfest which apparently is a rarity in these parts of the world–a great way to start the Oktoberfest season!
