This is not a guide on where to watch the World Cup; you can do that anywhere. Pretty much every bar, brewery, and restaurant with televisions will have it on. Rather, this is a list of beer-focused establishments where you can watch matches and score some deals on craft, independent beer. Most of those deals will be $6 beers. Did we miss something? Aslin, 14th St NW – 32 oz pours of 8 beers are $10 each during games, sound will be on.
Atlas Brew Works – “$6 pints of its gold medal-winning beers, Bullpen Pilsner and Silent Neighbor, at all three taproom locations from Thursday, June 11, through Sunday, July 19, during normal business hours.”
Belga Cafe – Duvel and frites for $6.66. Other deals include $25 Brugse Zot Draft & Bart’s Burger, Mussels & Stella — $18, Draft Sportzot N/A & Frietje Vol-au-Vent — $20, Drink a Duvel & Keep a Glass — $10. “Join us on Monday, starting at 2 PM and be part of the fun with representatives from the Belgian Embassy!”

Boundary Stone – $6 local drafts during all matches. What does that mean? Probably DC Brau, Denizens, Other Half, Port City, and the like. Good deal!
Churchkey – “All cask ales and select draft beers are $6 during ALL matches (with SOUND ON!),” we’re told. Those select draft currently include Allagash White, Halfway Crooks Farina (Kolsch), and a Veil IPA. Expect some rotation over the next month or so.
Franklin Hall – beer specials tbd, but they know beer and they know soccer.
The Harp, Cask & Kiln – $5 house lagers during all matches, which is really DC Brau Old Time.
Prost – $12 Spaten liters during matches, which is $5 off and comes out to… $6 beers. We’re saying Spaten counts, don’t @ us.
The Roost / Shelter – $6 lagers and cask ale during all matches
Silver Branch – $10 beer and a shot combos. Choose either of their Mondo Mexican-style lagers, light or dark, and the tequila comes from Espelon.
The Sovereign – $6 Brugse Zot blonde ale drafts during all Belgian and US matches. Half price mussels, too. Here’s the group play schedule: Fri. June 12 – USA vs. Paraguay @ 9pm Mon.
