For the next few days, look for the St. Bernardus team in and around DC, including new owner Julie Depypere, daughter of Han Depypere, who has run the Watou, Belgium-based brewery since 1998. This is her first trip to the States. Rather than post a bunch of events, we’ll note them here:

This is a casual meet and greet- have great beer and hopefully great conversation with the new owner, who has been helping her father run the brewery since 2011. The other casual event takes place at St. Arnold’s on Jefferson on Wednesday, which will have Abt 12, their famous quad, on nitro, as well as Christmas ale.
Prefer dinner? Head to Arlington’s Mussel Bar on Tuesday. Four courses, plus beer, for $70. If you’d rather not be locked into a menu, The Sovereign is your spot on Thursday, offering a guided tasting with Depypere as well as a la carte beers.
