On Saturday, December 16 and Sunday the 17 DC Beer is co-hosting two events on the Met Beer Trail.

First up, The 12 Beers of Christmas at metrobar from 2-5pm on Saturday. $22 gets you 3 ounce pours of 12 local seasonal beers in metrobar’s instagrammable and indoor space, with brewery representatives and DC Beer pouring. Here’s the list:

  1. Aslin, Tyson’s Grandma – IPA brewed with pecans, cinnamon & maple syrup (6.5% abv, can)
  2. Atlas, Giant Flaming Zombie Polar Bear – DIPA (9.4% abv, can)
  3. City State, Winter Warmer – Belgian Spiced Ale (9.0% abv, draft)
  4. DC Brau, Holiday Ginger – Winter Ale (5.0% abv, can)
  5. Denizens, Cool Breeze – English-Style Oatmeal Stout (4.5% abv, can)
  6. Lost Generation, Tmave – Czech Dark Lager (5.0% abv, draft)
  7. Old Ox, Keg Nog – Imperial Spiced Ale (8.0% abv, can)
  8. Port City, Tidings – Belgian-Style Blonde Ale (8.5% abv, bottle)
  9. Red Bear, Spruce Almighty – Spruce Tip Lager (6.3% abv, draft)
  10. Right Proper, Haxan Porter – Porter (7.0% abv, draft)
  11. Silver Branch, Gnome for the Holidays – Saison (7.6% abv, can)
  12. Solace, Griswold’s Winterbock – Dopplebock (8.2% abv, can)

metrobar will have mixed 4-packs of the bottled and canned beers available as well, so it’s a chance to try before you buy! Also, there might be some swag.

On Sunday, head over to Lost Generation for The Brewer, The Baker & The Everything Makers Market, perhaps your last chance to do some holiday shopping with a beer in your hand.

The market runs from 12-5pm, and includes jewelry, vintage clothing and goods, crafts, tea, hot sauce, and even dog treats made with brewery spent grain.
