At 10am on Saturday, October 17, 2020, Other Half Brewing will open their DC facility at 1401 Okie St NE for contactless curbside pickup. Here’s how it works.
Visit Other Half’s online store and select the DC location, then start shopping (online sales start at noon today, Friday, October 16th). Wait for an email letting you know that your order is ready, and then head over. If you’re driving/ride-sharing, call 202-747-0050 when you are outside the brewery. Let Other Half know the name on the order and the color and model of your car and pop the trunk. Walking or biking up? Give them a call all the same. No lines, no walkup sales, and no on-premise drinking.
What are you shopping for? Other Half has, inexplicably, boogieboard shorts, but you want cans, yes? Well, you’ve got four hoppy options.
HDHC Fully Loaded Baked Potato Imperial IPA (10.0%) w/ Monkish and Trillium Another one deep from the archives. Back when we made this the first time with our friends at Monkish and Trillium we fully loaded this beer with Kohatu, Denali (Sultana), Galaxy, Mosaic and Citra. Since then we found out a way to make it even more fully loaded with our High Density Hop Charge treatment. Packed with the same great hops but with the addition of Citra and Mosaic Incognito and Cryo pellets for max hop saturation. $24 per 4 pack.
Zero Anniversary Imperial IPA (10.0%) You’re only born once so why not celebrate it! We worked with local DC artist @trapxbob to come up with this spaced out version of our DC brewhouse. This one is blasted with Citra, Galaxy, Enigma, El Dorado, Mosaic and Mosaic Cryo. $22 per 4 pack.

2 Years 2 Months Later IPA (7.2%) It took long enough, 2 years and 2 months to be exact, but we are finally here and ready to brew some fresh beer in DC. Opening a brewery is a long and arduous process, but when those first beers finally come out, it makes it all worth it. Citra, Galaxy, Mosaic and Sabro. $16 per 4 pack.⠀

Tomato Factory Imperial IPA (8.0%) This one will hit you hard. In the best way, of course. Packed with Citra, Vic Secret, Riwaka and Sabro, so many great tastes together. Feeling lucky for the opportunity to convert this old tomato canning factory into a juice canning factory. $18 per 4 pack.⠀
