Did you know Denizens had a bottling line? Well check this out!

“Call Waiting, a Scottish Wee Heavy aged in Woodford Reserve Barrels for four months and finished on Vigilante Coffee beans. Comes in at 7.9 percent. The second bottle is our Chapless Horseman, which is our Russian Imperial Stout (Shirtless Horseman) aged in Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrels for four months. Comes in at 9.1%. These beers are freaking delicious. Folks can buy them to drink onsite at either of our taprooms or to-go. The bottles are 375ml. These bottles are the first two of this series we are releasing, but you should expect to see many more styles coming out throughout 2020 in bottles.” More on this development later. Watch this space!

Also, “Friday, January 31st, we are releasing Suffragette Stout, which is a Chocolate Cherry Stout brewed in collaboration with other MD breweries…, and the Brewers Association of Maryland in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Women’s Suffrage. Governor Hogan declared 2020 the Year of the Woman, and this beer is one example of the state encouraging this celebration. Maryland’s Secretary of Commerce, Kelly Shulz, will be onsite to kick this beer off at Denizens Barrel House and Beer Garden in Silver Spring from 12pm to 2pm, January 31st. This event is open to the press and you guys should come if you can. This beer will be available at both of our taprooms and throughout Maryland in limited distribution during the month of February, which is the annual FeBREWary celebration of craft beer throughout Maryland.”

Port City’s 9th anniversary is a party, but it’ll happen without this beer. It didn’t meet their quality control standards. Respect.

Now, for the main event, Port City’s Colossal IX, which will be in 6-packs following a brewery release this weekend. “To toast to nine years of brewing, Port City Brewing Company will release COLOSSAL IX, a German-Style Weizenbock and host a two-day Release and Anniversary Party. This lightly hopped wheat beer is mahogany in color, and brewed with top fermenting weizen yeast and malted wheat. This beer boasts rich flavors of ripe banana, clove, and dark fruit creating a full-bodied beer with a creamy mouthfeel and billowing clouds of foam.”

But let’s take it down a notch. back to session strength with Rocket Frog.

Another brewery-only release, with some pretty pretty cool can art, a collaboration between Saints Row and MoCoShow.
