DC Homebrewers bring the best of their craft beer to the people
On September 29th, from 1-4 PM at 3 Stars Brewing, the DC Homebrewers are having their eighth annual barbecue. The event is open to the public, and you should be interested for a variety of reasons.
First, there’s award-winning homebrew, lots of it. For $10 advance, $15 at the door, you get a pint of 3 Stars beer, a DC Homebrewers taster glass for sampling homebrew, and a raffle ticket. That raffle ticket puts you in the running to win some pretty cool experiences. From a DC Homebrewers communication:

You can buy additional raffle tickets to increase your odds of winning. Regardless, that’s a loaded slate of prizes.
Second, it’s for a good cause. Ticket and raffle sales fund activities of the DC Homebrewers, such as educational events and the website, and helps to keep membership free.
Third, you get this sweet glass. Not too shabby for $10. Heck, you might have so much fun you’ll take up the homebrewing hobby.
As for the BBQ part, As for Smoke and Ember will be on hand with barbecue, including vegetarian options, for purchase.

The DC Homebrewers are dedicated to the art and science of homebrewing. Our mission is to educate our members and the community at large. We meet once a month to learn about different styles and ingredients in homebrewing and exchange feedback and brewing tips with our members.
