On June 12th, 2014, business partners Graham MacDonald (formerly of Right Proper Beer) and Matt Humbard (a homebrewer and beer blogger) registered MacDonald Humbard Limited Liability Corporation in the state of Maryland to represent their contract brewing outfit, Handsome Beer Company. On December 28th, 2017 the LLC was dissolved and Handsome is no more. This explains why you likely haven’t seen their beer on tap since last summer.
From the fall of 2015 to the spring of 2017, Handsome brewed at Old Bust Head’s facility in Warrenton, VA; distributed beer in the District, Maryland, and Virginia; and were probably most known for their Galaxy Saison, featuring that trendy hop.
Their former website notes that the account has been suspended and they last tweeted in April of 2017. Stay tuned for more information.
