DC Beer Week 2016 Sponsorship Info Released

There's not much going on in August. That's doubly true this year because DC Beer Week has moved to late September. But spend the dog days of August thinking about putting together some excellent beer events. The DC Beer Week co-chairs and planning committee (of which, full disclosure, I am a member) has released sponsorship info for DC Beer Week 2016. See below.

Friends,

DC Beer Week — our home-grown celebration of local craft beer in the nation's capital — is just around the corner, and we would love for you to be involved!  As you may have heard, DC Beer Week 2016 will run from September 24 – October 1, and is being administered this year by the D.C. Brewers' Guild (see this press release for additional background).  We hope to make this year's DC Beer Week bigger than ever with a wider variety of events, both geographically and thematically, throughout the week.

While the D.C. Brewers' Guild has taken the reigns from last year's top-notch planning team, we have kept many elements of this year's DC Beer Week the same as last year's.  For instance, we are keeping a similar sponsorship structure to what has been offered in years past.  Information on how to become a sponsor is available here for your review, and if you are interested in joining us, we encourage you to visit our website and sign up as soon as possible.  We currently only have two Marquee Sponsorships left, so please contact DCBW Co-Chair Kathy Rizzo (kathy@dcbg.org) if you are interested in becoming a Marquee Sponsor for 2016.

Because we are eager to see a greater diversity in the type of events offered this year, we are also encouraging potential participants to consider hosting an educational event by filling out this application.  Educational events will receive the same benefits offered at our Single Event Sponsor level free of charge.  Once you have completed the application, our Educational Events Team will follow up with you to confirm details.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact Kathy (kathy@dcbg.org).  We hope you will help us make this the greatest celebration yet.  We look forward to partnering with you!

Cheers,
Kathy Rizzo & Lisa Cox
DC Beer Week 2016 Co-Chairs
