In case you've missed all of our coverage around the opening of the Neighborhood Restaurant Group's The Sovereign in Georgetown (including a one, two, three part interview with beer director Greg Engert), let alone the coverage from the rest of the DC beer and food media, here's just a little bit more to whet your appetite.

The Sovereign (1206 Wisconsin Avenue NW) opens at 5:30pm tonight. The Belgian-inspired bar and restaurant focuses on a number of smaller Belgian breweries and "singular" examples of Belgian styles. In terms of most-anticipated beer bar openings in DC (measured by ink, bytes, and social media hype), this likely ranks second behind just ChurchKey's opening five years ago.

The opening night food and draft beer menus are below. Note that the bottled beer list will not be available tonight and launches tomorrow, but if you're a beer fan who can't find something that appeals to you on the draft list, you're likely insufferable anyway. Highlights of tonight's draft list include everything on it but especially Jester King's Le Petit Prince, Allagash Tiarna, De Struise Pannepot 2013, and both De Ranke XX and XXX Bitters. Oh, and both Cantillon's Iris Grand Cru and Rose de Gambrinus will also be available.
