GABF Breweries Announced, Including Strong DMV Contingent

Yesterday, with the members only sale under way, the Brewers Association announced the approximately 750 breweries that will be participating in this year’s Great American Beer Festival.  You read that right, 750 some odd breweries will be bringing an estimated 3,700 beers to Denver September 24-26.

Among them, a number of DC, Maryland, and Virginia breweries will be showing off their wares and hoping to win a coveted medal.  Some have already taken home hardware from the country’s biggest beer festival, while others are appearing for the very first time.  Here’s a list of the DMV breweries heading to Colorado.

In addition to regular updates to our coverage in the run-up to the festival, we'll be reporting live from Denver, so let us know if you're making the trip too.  But if you didn't already snag tickets, you better hope a friend has a spare.  Despite adding 90,000 square feet of convention space, GABF again sold out in a matter of hours.
