On Small Business Saturday, the brewery and Think Local First DC are hosting the annual Made in DC Holiday Marketplace during growler hours, and kicking off on Thanksgiving, the brewery once again will partner with Pizzeria Paradiso for the 4th Annual Brewer’s Grain Pizza Fundraiser in support of Bread for the City.

4th Annual Brewer's Grain Pizza Fundraiser with Pizzeria Paradiso
Thanksgiving – Christmas 2014
All 3 Pizzeria Paradiso locations (http://www.eatyourpizza.com)
For the 4th year in a row, DC Brau is teaming up with Pizzeria Paradiso to raise dough for Bread for the City (www.breadforthecity.org). From Thanksgiving through Christmas, buy one of their special Brewer's grain pizzas using spent grain from DC Brau, and $2 from each pie will go to benefit the charity. Pizzeria Paradiso will also be baking hundreds of loaves of bread using the spent grain to donate to Bread for the City.
The brewery is also raising money and collecting non-perishable food items for their neighbors at the Central Union Mission (www.missiondc.org). DC Brau has created a special, limited-edition t-shirt that will be on sale throughout November during growler hours for $20 each. All net proceeds from the sale of the "Cats Down Under the DC Stars" shirt will be donated to the Mission. They'll also be collecting cans & boxes of non-perishable food and travel-sized toiletries at growler hours each Saturday.
