Interested in becoming a Certified Cicerone? You can attempt the rigorous exam in Washington, DC at Premium Distributors on January 8, 2015 from 10am-2pm.
In order to take the Certified Cicerone exam, you have to have passed the first level Certified Beer Server exam. The Certified Cicerone exam is $395. To retake the tasting portion (which surely you won't have to do, right?) is $100, to re-take the written portion is $175.
Don't take the Cicerone exam lightly (after all, it'll cost you nearly $400). It's a very thorough exam that is not a walk in the park. Still, if you think you have what it takes, you can take it in your own backyard in a few months.
