SAVOR returns to DC May 9-10. The week before this big event promises plenty of great events in the DC area. DC Brau and Flying Dog's "Micro de Mayo"
Jack Rose will kick off "Savor Week" with a Cinco de Mayo-themed fiesta celebrating two amazing local craft/micro breweries: DC Brau and Flying Dog. Mucha cerveza will flow along with happy hour-priced Mexican-inspired fare. DC Brau and Flying Dog will each showcase 10 of their beers on the bar's state-of-the-art draft system, with $5 drafts available from 6-9pm, along with a special Flying Dog "Jack Rose-exclusive" treat.

Tuesday, May 6 – 6-9pm
2nd Annual Beeremix Competition – Thunderdome Edition
Craft brewers from Boulevard and 3 Stars take on Jack Rose's own resident mixologists in the 2nd annual beer-meets-cocktail Beeremix competition. Each team's mission: to craft a beer cocktail using one of their own beers, and a secret ingredient. Boulevard's team will be led byLead Brewer Jeremy Danner and assisted by Mixmaster Trevor Frye, while 3 Stars will be led by brewery representative Mike Dee and assisted by Mixmaster Nick Lowe.
Each team will have one hour to mix up their cocktail, and customers have two hours to taste and vote on their favorite. The winning cocktail will be available for $5 throughout the rest of the night on the Terrace. Both Boulevard and 3 Stars will also offer four additional beers on draft for $5 from 6-9pm.
There will be a $15 entry fee at the door, which will include two drink tickets for featured cocktails.

"There and Back Again" – an Epic Beer Journey with Oakshire Brewing Co. and 3 Stars
Not currently available in the DC market, Eugene, Oregon's acclaimed Oakshire Brewing Co.is teaming up with loved local 3 Stars Brewing Company for an epic beer journey at Jack Rose.
Both breweries will take over the bar's 20-tap draft system, offering tastes from one of Oregon's smallest and most talented breweries along with one of DC's favorite local breweries, both which embody what beer is all about: community, quality and amazing beer.
The event will also debut a Jack Rose-exclusive Knob Creek Rye Barrel-aged version of the 3 Stars Southern Belle from the only known Knob Creek Rye barrel to ever leave the distillery.
Guests can enjoy $5 beer specials from 6pm-9pm and the event is free and open to the public.

Celebrating Samuel Adams' 30th anniversary, Jack Rose and Beer Director Nahem Simon are honored to host Founder and Owner Jim Koch with a night of New England fare and 20 incredible Sam Adams beers on draft, which span their incredible portfolio, 30 years in the making.
Guests who purchase a Sam Adams beer can enjoy complimentary New England Clam Bakefrom 6pm-8pm, as well as the opportunity to meet the brewing legend himself! All 20 Sam Adams drafts will be $5 from 6-8 p.m.
