It's a measure of the devotion that our staff has for you, our readers, that we go out and put ourselves in the line of fire to do all these tastings, samplings, and general quality control of craft beer day after day, week after week, and month after month. It really gets old sometimes trying all these delicious beers. But someone has to do it, and damn it, we're up to the challenge. 2013 brought to our palates a bevy of tasty beverages (and some clunkers). Here are our staff members' top choices from the year that was (with comments where appropriates in parentheses), and we've got some honorable mentions at the end as well. You'll see there was a healthy mix of styles and geographies with local breweries well represented, which is a good sign for 2014. What were your top beers of 2013? Let us know in the comments!
