Revealing the Beers from Scion’s Blind and Bitter: Hop Face-Off

On behalf of Scion RestaurantCrios Modern MexicanWhole Foods Georgetown, and all of us here at DCBeer, I want to thank everyone who came out last night to the Blind and Bitter: Hop Face-Off, part of DC Beer Week 2013.

I'm pleased to announce that Evolution Brewing Company's beers won them a permanent draft line at Scion/Crios last night! In second and third place respectively were Oskar Blues Brewing Company and Founders Brewing Company. Thanks to all twelve breweries for bringing such amazing beers to the event!

So many people came out to try out this kind of quirky idea of blindly ordering and drinking beer. We're glad folks had such a great time. As promised, here's the list of beers from last night revealed, along with the tasting notes we used to describe them. Cheers!
