Sunday, August 11 at 12:00 PM – Tasting Room Release Party – Port City Brewing Company – 3950 Wheeler Avenue, Alexandria
Port City is kicking off DC Beer Week in the Tasting Room with the release of Maniacal, their limited edition double IPA, at Noon!, The Tasting Room will be open from Noon-6PM, with Public Tours at 2pm & 3pm and Live Music with Mark Hopkins from 2pm-4pm.

Monday, August 12 at 7:00 PM – Pacer’s Fun Run “Joggers and Lagers” – Port City Brewing Company – 3950 Wheeler Avenue, Alexandria
From 7-9pm. Pacers in Old Town maps out 1, 3, and 5 mile routes that begin at the Tasting Room. Tasting Room hours will be from 6PM-9PM and PCBC will have the Borinquen Lunch Box food truck in the lot serving up delicious Puerto Rican dishes.

Tuesday, August 13 at 5:00 PM – TWO-sday! – Port City Brewing Company – 3950 Wheeler Avenue, Alexandria
The brewers have dug deep into the cellar, and they will be tapping the brewer’s reserved keg of TWO, an imperial smoked porter and PCBC's 2nd anniversary brew. The Tasting Room hours will be 5-8PM.

Tuesday, August 13 at 6:00 PM – Port City Beer Dinner – Beuchert's Saloon – 623 Pennsylvania Avenue SE
"Port City is pairing with our good friends and Beuchert's Saloon on Capitol Hill for a DC Beer Week Beer Dinner. Pronounced BOO-kerts, this is one of our best supporters in DC and one of the most delicious new spots on the Hill. Come on out for an evening of Port City Brew expertly paired with some of Chef Andrew Markerts "farm Americana" dishes. Pairings to come!"

Wednesday, August 14 at 3:00 PM – RFD Coast to Coast Tap Takeover – RFD – 810 7th Street NW
RFD in Chinatown is throwing an epic DC Beer Week tap takeover on Wednesday night, featuring more than 20 American craft breweries from across five of our country's beer regionsm, Port City and other local favorites included! Reps from the various breweries will be on hand to chat about your favorite brews and answer any questions you might have. All beers from their 45 draft lines will be $5 all night, plus a $5 cover charge with proceeds going to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Thursday, August 15 at 5:00 PM – Game Night! – Port City Brewing Company – 3950 Wheeler Avenue, Alexandria
A fun way to spend a Thursday night with friends. PCBC will have a set of Corn Hole boards set up in the brewery and they invite everyone to bring their favorite board or card game to play while you sip award winning local craft beer. The Tasting Room will be open from 5pm-8pm.

Thursday, August 15 at 6:00 PM – NoVA Tap Takeover – Poste Modern Brasserie – 555 8th Street NW
Join the Port City crew as we pair with the good people at Mad Fox Brewery and Poste for a night of Northern Virginia's finest. Poste, right outside of Verizon Center, is rocking tap takeovers all DC Beer Week and Thursday is your night to get a taste of NoVa in the District. Come out and enjoy some suds with brewery reps and talk all things beer!

Friday, August 16 at 5:00 PM – Meet the Brewer! – Port City Brewing Company – 3950 Wheeler Avenue, Alexandria
Jonathan Reeves, PCBC's award winning Brew Master, will be in the Tasting Room to field all Beer Geek questions, Muppetology queries, and music trivia.

Friday, August 16 at 5:00 PM – Maniacal DIPA Re-Launch – Tavern 64 – 1800 Presidents Street, Reston
Port City is proud to re-release the highly limited, anticipated, and incredibly hoppy Maniacal DIPA during DC Beer Week. Outside of our tasting room, there will be ONLY TWO destination spots to get it: Tavern 64 in Reston is hosting the VA release on Friday 8/16. It's a restaurant known for excellent American Craft Beer, fresh seasonal ingredients, and delicious farm to to fork food. The beer will be paired with specially crafted appetizers, including ingredients from Lothar's Gourmet Sausage and Bay Haven Farms, to provide the complete sensory experience. The Port City crew will be there toasting this deviously delicious brew, see you there! 

Friday, August 16 at 5:00 PM – Blind and Bitter w/ DCBeer.com, Scion, and Crios – Scion – 2100 P Street NW
What would happen if a bar didn't label their drafts for a night? Take away all the preconceptions, hype, bells and whistles for one night, and just sell beer. With that question in mind, we set out to create a really unique event for DCBW: a blind tasting of hop forward beers. The beers will be listed on the menu without the name of the beer, or even the brewery. Come on out and test your paradigm as to what a hoppy beer should be! The Port City crew will be there enjoying the tasting and chatting with the crowd. Come on out!

Saturday, August 17 at 12:00 PM – Steal the Pint! – Port City Brewing Company – 3950 Wheeler Avenue, Alexandria
Buy a pint and get one of our authentic Port City pint glasses to take home from Noon-3PM, while supplies last. The Tasting Room will be open from Noon-9PM.

Saturday, August 17 at 8:00 PM – Old Ebbitt Grill's BrewHaha! – Old Ebbitt Grill – 675 15th Street NW
Join Port City and nine other local breweries for the OEG's Brewhaha! This is the flagship event of DC Beer Week. The BrewHaHa is a celebration of local craft beer, food and music.  Nine local craft brewers paired with nine local chefs will celebrate the growth of craft beer here in our nation’s capital while backed by DC’s own 19thStreet Band as part of the 5th Annual DC Beer Week which runs from August 11th through August 18th.  Each brewery will feature two of their beers and the chef will create a dish that enhances both the beer and the food.  Guests will be able to sample unlimited amounts of these creations in a large cocktail style party in the Atrium of the Old Ebbitt Grill. Get tickets while you can!
