DCBW 2013 Events: ChurchKey/Birch & Barley

DC Beer Week 2013 returns from August 11-18. Although we have day-by-day line-ups posted, it may also be helpful for the #DCBrews community to check out what some venues that are going above and beyond will be offering. Here are the events for Logan Circle's ChurchKey and Birch & Barley. Monday, August 12 at 7:00 PM – The Perennial Artisan Ales Beer & Food Experience – Birch & Barley – 1337 14th Street NW

Birch & Barley will host the Perennial Artisan Ales Beer & Food Experience, pairing 6 delicious and rare Perennial brews with 4 exquisite courses crafted by their culinary team. Perennial Brewmaster & Founder Phil Wymore will be on hand to introduce each brew and tell our guests the story of his outstanding brewery. Tickets for the dinner are $60 each, exclusive of tax and gratuity. Reservations are available by calling Birch & Barley at 202-567-2576.

The following beers will be specially sent just for the dinner: 

• Perennial BA Abraxas: Spiced Imperial Stout aged Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey barrels with cacao nibs, ancho cilies, vanilla beans & cinnamon
• Perennial & Hopleaf Tart Hopfentea: Berliner Weisse collaboration with papaya & mango
• Perennial 100% Brett Saison: Saison fermented solely with Brettanomyces
• Perennial Woodside: Tripel fermented with Honey from Woodside Urban Honey
• Perennial Kriek: Perennial's take on wild, Cherry-infused Lambic
• Perennial & Deschutes Recital Belgian IPA: collaborative hopped-up Belgian-style ale
