For those of you who go all out for New Year's Eve and also drink craft beer (and we hope there are a lot of you), you're in luck! This year there are a lot of options in the area that you can take advantage of. Tickets are available for all of these events at the time of this writing. Columbia Firehouse
The fun starts at 9pm. Tickets are $65 per person and can be purchased here. Tickets are limited. Price of admission includes canapés, stationed hors d’oeuvres (menu subject to change), Champagne Toast at Midnight. Drinks available via cash bars throughout. Crios's goal is to have an affordable party, with a good crowd, and a short line at the bar. Ticket includes a full open bar from 9:00 pm – 3:00 am, light apps, and a champagne toast at midnight. A live DJ will be playing a mix of current hits and old school classics. There is no dress code, but we encourage everyone to dress to impress. Enjoy New Year's Eve at Mad Fox from 8pm to 12:30am. Your $60 ticket includes appetizers, dinner and dessert buffers, and live music from the Tom Principato band. Tis’ the Season to Ring in a Mellow New Year. No cover. No hassles. DJ Eskimo will play a variety of funk, soul, reggae, and hiphop all night. The Black Squirrel
The Black Squirrel is putting on a Let’s Get Lucky brunch on New Year's Day starting at 11:30am. As the old southern adage says, "Peas for pennies, greens for dollars, and cornbread for gold… Eat poor on New Year's Day, and eat fat the rest of the year!" Black Squirrel to the rescue. Do you like tacos? Is there a better way to start off the new year than with tacos? Smoke and Barrel says no. Enjoy the "Taco Tuesday" special ($5 for 3 tacos and a side) all day. Smoke and Barrel will open at 11am and be offering both brunch tacos and their regular taco line-up.
