Kramerbooks and Afterwords Cafe: Third Annual Brooklyn Brawl Beer & Cheese Tasting – 6pm Kramerbooks and Afterwords Cafe – 1517 Connecticut Avenue NW – @kramerbooks The Third Annual Brooklyn Brawl is a beer- and cheese-tasting event for DC Beer Week, featuring seven selections by Brooklyn Brewery, available as individual tastes and by flights, all paired with cheeses. Brooklyn Brewery’s DC representative, Ryan Reaske and DOPS distributor representative, Jeff Wells will join us to answer questions about Brooklyn’s brews. We will be serving 6-oz. beer-tasting pours ranging in price from $7 to $10 each. Each beer taste includes an individual .5-oz. tasting portion of a specially selected cheese. We will also be serving four differently themed flights and a full-tasting flight. Each flight is a group of three 6-oz. pours of each selection and their corresponding paired cheeses. The four flight themes are: Lighter Side of Pale; 5-7-9; Around The World; and, Extreme Beers. Themed flight prices are $21 or $22; and, the full tasting flight is $53.
