On Tuesday, July 24, Food, Wine & Co. kicks off their new “Beer Talk” Series. The inaugural event will feature one of Colorado’s favorite brands and Matt Zrebeic, Mid-Atlantic Brand Manager for Oskar Blues Brewery, will be on-hand. Food, Wine & Co. experts Jeremy Wentmore and David Birks will also be on hand to ensure beer is poured properly and questions are answered. The talk will highlight Food, Wine & Co.’s beer program, featuring 16 domestic and international beers on tap and over 70 bottles and cans. Tickets are $50, the event will begin at 6 PM, and will feature a beer-centric spread of food made with Dale’s Pale and Mama’s Little Yella Pils on top of additional epicurean elements.
Food, Wine & Co.’s Chef Michael Harr will offer a savory pork belly braised with citrus, hops, and crispy fried onions. Also BBQ beef brisket on brioche with a lemon garlic chili sauce, accompanied by a Dale’s Pale Ale mayo, and Chef Harr’s highly sought after tater tots. Yella Pils marinated salmon will be served with smoked mushrooms, pickled red onions and dill, and crispy spicy fried pickles. To pair, Oskar Blues will be pouring Mama’s Little Yella Pills, Dale’s Pale Ale, Deviant Dale’s IPA, G’Knight, and Old Chub.
