Have you been wishing that more of your parties included pig roasts and world class beers that are tapped within feet of the fermenters?
Well, Mad Fox hears your calls and has an answer for you. The Falls Church brewpub is turning two and they want you to join the party this Saturday, July 14. This party won’t have any party hats or overplayed cupcakes, just that sweet Orange Whip you’ve been craving. Orange Whip is one of Mad Fox’s signature beers, and it is a solid one indeed. Using the about-every-hop-imaginable-hybrid and trendy Citra variety, this American IPA has a tropical fruit and citrus nose and gives the nice bitterness necessary for these long summer days.
The handle on the Whip will be first pulled at 11am, and the party goes on all day. Make sure you also hit up the other two brews being tapped: Oaked Crazy Ivan and Batch 100. The latter hits on all your favorite multiples of 10: specific gravity of 100, 100 IBUs, 100% Centennial Hops, and 10% ABV. It’s even aged in Evan Williams Bourbon barrels! Expect plums and some warming stout character.
Go for the beer, stay for the pig roast and the tunes from Pebble to Pearl. There will also be a raffle to win a Chef’s Table Dinner. So make your future second anniversary parties jealous and get yourself to Mad Fox!
