The craft beer industry owes a lot to Anchor Brewing Company, which, since Fritz Maytag bought it in 1965 has been a stalwart in promoting and brewing craft beer. We don’t often see events from Anchor in DC, but apparently that’s about to change because Anchor is hosting a beer dinner at The Hamilton.

Mark Carpenter, Anchor’s Brewmaster of 40 years, will be at The Hamilton for this dinner, a special four course tasting menu created by Executive Chef, Sal Ferro. The dinner will be held on Friday, July 27 at 6:30pm in the Loft Dining Room of The Hamilton. Tickets are $60 per person inclusive and may be purchased online at www.thehamiltondc.com
