For those of you who never brave the bridges to venture out into the fine Commonwealth of Virginia, the name Cheesetique may not mean all that much to you. On the other hand, for those of us on this side of the Potomac, Cheesetique means a whole lot. With locations in Alexandria and Shirlington, Cheesetique has provided the NoVA area with a steady supply of delicious cheese and associated beverages for a number of years now. Recently, this bastion of cheesy goodness has steadily stepped up their beer game and can be relied upon for a consistently well-curated selection of delicious craft brews.
Now that the summer has officially arrived and my originally-from-Florida self gets to hear all these silly Northerners moan and groan about the heat and humidity, it’s more than time to focus on some crisp, bright, refreshing beers. Cheesetique will help you do just that.
This Saturday from 1PM to 4PM, Cheesetique Shirlington will be tasting four summer-appropriate beers in what they’re calling “Fancy Brews for your BBQ.” All the beers that will be tasted are canned, making them perfect for a bit of outdoor imbibing. Check out the list below and drop in for a bit of craft beer refreshment
Crispin Brownslane Cider
Maui Bikini Blonde
Long Trail Blackberry Wheat
Sixpoint Crisp
Note: A certain DCBeer.com writer may be at out there on Saturday, so come say hello if you’re around!
