14th Street near Logan Circle just got another solid beer menu. Estadio, Cafe Saint-Ex, Logan Tavern, Bar Pilar, oh and a little place called ChurchKey/Birch and Barley already have great beer menus, but now they have more company from The Pig.
From a press release:
The Pig opens this week to much anticipation from the Logan Circle neighborhood as well as EatWell DC fans. The Pig is pork centric with respect for the whole animal and with a focus on handcrafted food and drinks…The menu is inspired by Chef Garret Fleming’s travels in Sicily where he incorporated this cuisine into balanced, shared plates. He offers challenging dishes such as Porchetta; roasted pork belly stuffed with
brains, hazelnuts, greens and hog gravy, as well as comforting dishes such as Carolina Smoked BBQ with pulled pork and mac & cheese.
Mmm. Pork. Here’s the beer menu. It looks small, but well curated, with a lot of crisp flavors that will cut through the fat of all those pork dishes and cleanse your palette.
Anyone been yet, how’d it go?
