Yarrrr, it do be true that the quick sell-out of SAVOR makes many want to have someone walk the plank. But fear not, ye landlubbers, because Heavy Seas is putting on a Pre-SAVOR Party at Jack Rose Dining Saloon that will have a full treasure trove of bounty, including a pair of tickets to the main event.
On Thursday, June 7 head to Jack Rose to meet up with the crew from Baltimore’s Heavy Seas Brewery. A full line-up from the Heavy Seas portfolio will be on draft, along with a special offering on cask.

But that’s not all! Jack Rose acquired a Stitzel-Weller barrel (the distillery that formerly produced the famed Pappy Van Winkle bourbons) and offered it up to Heavy Seas to fill with their Peg Leg Imperial Stout. The cask has been dry-hopped with toasted Madagascar vanilla, cocoa nibs, ginger, orange peel and allspice. Heavy Seas rep Jonathan McIntire notes, “We will be serving the beer from some, how do I put this, very unique casks…. We also have a killer draft lineup of other reserve beer.”
For every pint of Heavy Seas you buy, you’ll get a ticket for a drawing to win a pair of SAVOR tickets (must be present to win)!
Dress like a pirate for this event (but leave play firearms and swords at home, please), and you may just win two tickets to the Heavy Seas Pyrates, Pigs, and Pints festival in September! Heavy Seas crew members will also be handing out other prizes for costumes they find particularly seaworthy.
