As many, many others have noted, craft beer has been picking up steam while beer sales overall (and the economy in general) have flagged. This trend, while fantastic, isn’t all that surprising to many craft drinkers, who have long clamored for more options. But whither the future of craft brewing? At 1:06 PM, point your dials (or start streaming) WAMU 88.5 to catch Kojo’s chat with three craft beer emissaries: Greg Engert, Beer Director for the Neighborhood Restaurant Group; Julia Herz, the Brewers Association’s Director of Craft Beer; and Greg Kitsock, Washington Post columnist and Mid-Atlantic Brewing News Editor.
