In several weeks, I will have the pleasure of attending the 2012 Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) in San Diego on behalf of DCBeer.com. It will be more than just my first time to CBC: it’ll also be my first trip to California. The wife has already given me a quota on the number of “Anchor Man” quotes I’m allowed. I plan to triple that number before we get through TSA on this coast.
DCBeer.com has been granted a media pass to attend this annual event hosted by The Brewers Association, which is described as:
The only industry event that serves both brewpubs and packaging breweries. For professional brewers, CBC is the number one environment in North America for concentrated, affordable brewing education and idea sharing to improve brewery quality and performance. The conference is also a great social event with over 2,600 brewing industry professionals enjoying craft brews together. BrewExpo America® allows exhibitors and buyers to develop profitable business relationships and helps brewing and brewery restaurant professionals encounter the latest and best products and services that industry vendors have to offer.
While this event is targeted at industry professionals and brewers, there are many discussions and presentations that will be of interest to industry veterans and craft beer fans alike. I’m assuming you don’t just want me to report on all of the great beer I will drink and cool people that I will meet. So, take a look at the CBC schedule and let us know what you want to hear more about. What content should we cover and report back with?
