DC Brau’s The Public Pale Ale and Corruption IPA have taken the city and surrounding burbs by storm. Specialty kegs like oak-aged Pen Quarter Porter or the hoptastic On the Wings of Armageddon don’t last long once they hit taps.
On Tuesday May 1st, and Wednesday May 2nd, Brandon Skall, Founder and CEO of DC Brau, will be at Fire Works to greet diners and answer questions.
What separates this paired dinner from others? The fact that there will be an outdoor BBQ (weather permitting)! Chef Frank Mayo will be manning the grill and plating everything up right before your eyes. While Chef Frank is creating a menu that will pair perfectly with selected beers you’re guaranteed some fine fair that’s been grilled and bbq’d.
Beer list (subject to change):
Citizen (Belgian Pale Ale)
Corruption (IPA)
The Public (American Pale Ale)
Penn Quarter Porter
Citizen (Oak Aged)
One additional ale TBD
Fire Works is taking reservations for up to 34 guests. A credit card will be required to hold your space for dinner. Please email mikeberry@fireworkspizza.com directly or call 703-527-8700 to make a reservation. Price will be $75 (includes gratuity), 6 beers and 5 courses.
On a personal note, this will be Fire Works Beer Director Mike Berry’s last paired dinner at Fire Works. The man who has kept Courthouse flooded with quality ales and lagers is leaving his post for another job within the beer community. We wish Mike our sincerest congratulations and know Fire Works will keep serving kegs of superior quality.
