It is no secret that we have been fans of Devils Backbone for some time now. That opinion is not exactly unique to DCBeer. In fact, Devils Backbone was named Champion Brewery and Brewmaster of the Small Brewpub category at the 2010 Craft Brewers Conference. Other accolades for individual beers include wins at the Great American Beer Festival as well.
Fast forward to two years later. Devils Backbone has one of the most impressive breweries on the East Coast and is poised to enter the Northern Virginia market with a series of events spanning two weeks. For now, Devils Backbone has not made any statements abut DC distribution, but they will have beer readily available throughout Northern Virginia soon enough. Over the course of two weeks, Devils Backbone and Guiffre Distributing will be featuring a total of eight beers. Here’s the event line-up
On Monday, April 23 Rustico in Alexandria host the office launch parting featuring 17 beers on draft including two casks. These are limited releases and one offs straight from the brew pub will be on hand. Master Brewer Jason Oliver will be on hand to answer questions and talk about all things beer. Check out this list.
