When you sit in the first floor smith or the second or third floor commons at Smith Commons, enjoying mixed drinks, craft beers, or some delicious spicy apple-glazed wings, you can stare right out across the street at Granville Moore’s. This bastion of Belgian beer and cuisine is headed up by Chef Teddy Folkman, Brewery Ommegang Culinary Ambassador and master of moules frites.

Well, I guess folks from both venues must’ve been staring at each other out of their respective windows, because the two are teaming up to put on a beer dinner.

That’s right, on April 30 at 7pm, Chef Teddy Folkman will cook a one-night-only six course dinner paired with six different Brewery Ommegang beers. Tickets are $85, including tax and gratuity, and can be purchased here.

The menu is below. Sidenote, I think it’s pretty cool that Chef Teddy and Smith Commons are teaming up. It speaks to the vibe of camaraderie that’s on H Street right now.
