The Mothership Connection, an 8-9% abv weizenbock, is a funky, German-style dark wheat beer with a fruity malt backbone and a strong whiff of banana on the nose. It’s so funky, in fact, that Chocolate City named it after the seminal Parliament Funkadelic album.
Chocolate City is only putting out eight barrels (16 full size kegs) of it, so make sure you catch it while you can. As George Clinton so eloquently put it, “Gotta have that funk.”
