Paired dinners at Fire Works Arlington are like bourbon barrel aged Scottish ales: big, bold, and with goodness oozing out of every drop. In the case of Fire Works’ next dinner(s), attendees will get to taste Evolution Craft Brewing Company’s Bourbon Barrel Aged Scotch Ale Menagerie No. 3. If you missed this (or any of the other many Evolution beers that have been poured at Fire Works), now is the perfect time to discover Evolution and the sweet nectar that has been generating their buzz.

Founder and “Evolution Passion Man” Tom Knorr will be on-hand for two nights of Evolution Beer Dinners on February 21 and 22 at 7pm to give you an up close and personal rundown of his amazing ales. Evolution beers paired will be:

Primal Pale Ale (American Pale Ale, 5% ABV)
Exile ESB (Extra Special Bitter, 5.8% ABV)
Lot No. 3 IPA (India Pale Ale, 6.8% ABV)
Rise Up Stout (Stout, 6.7% ABV)
Lucky 7 Porter (Porter, 5.7% ABV)
Menagerie No. 3 (Bourbon Barrel Aged Scotch Ale, 10% ABV)

Of course, this is all subject to change, but in my experience, the only real changes ever made by Beer Director Mike Barry are great ones. Never have I been disappointed by a change and it can easily just mean you’re getting something rare and/or tasty as a greeter beer. Chef Frank Mayo is giving serious thought to the menu and will tailor his cuisine to Evolution’s ales.
