Quick note about a bar we don’t hear from too often (we’re hoping that’ll change!)
Everyone’s favorite no-nonsense neighborhood H Street bar, The Pug, is getting in on the “house beer” movement by launching Tunney’s Irish Red today at 4pm. The beer is made for The Pug at Oliver Ales.
Not sure if this is similar to Oliver’s Irish Red (I’ll check on that), but if so, look out for a 6% well-hopped yet malty brew with Steve Jones’ usual excellent touch.
