Bill Butcher, Founder of Alexandria’s Port City Brewing Company joins 3 for a creative five course beer tasting dinner featuring unreleased brews. 3  is pairing beer-infused food with some of Port City’s best in its Five Course Beer Dinner on Tuesday, November 15 at 7 p.m.

Course one – Frito Misto – Optimal Wit
Beer battered calamari, shrimp and scallop with Citrus Aioli

Course two – Beer, Bacon and Cheddar Soup – Monumental I.P.A.
House cured bacon and 4 year aged cheddar

Course three – American BBQ platter-Essential Pale Ale

Smoked and beer braised BBQ “pork wings”,
Drunken fingerling potato salad with pale ale coleslaw

Course four – Venison short rib- Porter
Grilled with plum porter glaze,
Porter “brown” rice, porter pickled bok choy

Course five – Ice Cream Float – Blonde Ale
Honey, ginger, caramel ice cream, ginger snap cookies

Guests can reserve a space at the beer dinner for $50/person (excluding tax and gratuity) which includes the five-course meal with beer pairings. Reservations are required and can be made by emailing events@restaurantthree.com.
