These days, beer dinners are becoming increasingly more popular. Local chefs are discovering how a craft beer can be paired in many ways to create amazing pairings in which both food and beer compliment each other. In October alone, there were close to two dozen opportunities to take part in the art that is pairing food in beer. The good news is that the success of each event is prompting other venues to plan their own tastings and bring their own unique pairings into the mix.

Next Wednesday, Zest Bistro is hosting a Beer Dinner with Vermont Brewery Long Trail. Zest Bistro, known for the creative spins on classic American cuisine, has created a stacked six course menu paired with some of Long Trail’s best. Take a look at the lineup. For some reason, my eyes are immediately drawn to the words, “Trio of Empanadas”. I think I need that printed on a t-shirt.

At such a great price point this seems like a can’t miss event.
