DC Brau, not content with making fresh, delicious local beer, is moonlighting as a movie theater these days. This Friday, October 28, head up to the DC Brau brewery. Doors open at 7pm and the movie, Shaun of the Dead will begin showing at 9pm. This is part of DC Brau’s series known as Citizen Cinema!
Admission to this event is free. Pints of beer from the tasting room will be $4. Attendees need to be 21+ unless accompanied by a parent, and this will be strictly enforced.
Red Apron butchery will be present selling all sorts of delicious movie treats! Here’s a partial menu:
Fresh Charcuterie and pates sliced to order
Warm Pressed Panini Sandwiches
BBQ Popcorn
Herb Scented Butter Popcorn
Beef Jerky
Pickled Half Smokes
and other delicious goodies!
This will be the first time that visitors to the brewery can have more than 12 ounces of beer, DC Brau applied for a one day on-premise license, which is exciting.
Seating is limited, so bring a chair or blanket. Be sure to have a designated driver (as always!) or take a cab because the brewery is not particularly Metro accessible.
Seems like a great way to see the brewery (if you haven’t been) or to go again and have some tasty beer!
